Best Airport In The World? Singapore’s Changi Won The Crown For 16Th Time

Singapore’s Changi Airport has been named the “world’s best airport” for a record 12th time.

Singapore Changi Airport has been named as the World’s Best Airport in 2023 in the World Airport Awards held at Passenger Terminal EXPO in Amsterdam on 15th March 2023. 

Global travelers representing more than 100 nationalities participated in the Skytrax survey, which also named Singapore’s Changi Airport as the:

• Best Airport in Asia
• World’s Best Airport — Dining, and
• World’s Best Airport — Leisure Amenities.

Customers rated airports according to many factors, including shopping, check-in, arrivals, transfers and security and immigration.

Singapore’s Changi has regained its title as the world’s best airport, after losing its long-held crown to Qatar for two years running during the height of pandemic travel restrictions. The Asian hub edged Doha’s Hamad International Airport into second place, with Tokyo’s Haneda Airport bagging third, in the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2023. The U.S. was conspicuous by its absence in the top 10.
